Plumb slate is one of our most popular decorative products due to its unrivalled versatility. With both its weed suppressing qualities and attractive look it can be used as a great option within a garden planting scheme and border.
For those who want a low maintenance garden, Plumb Slate can provide an alternative to turf giving you a flat surface that can be easily walked on whilst providing an aesthetically pleasing effect.
Additionally Plumb Slate is also commonly used in garden ponds and as a base for water features. With the slate allowing water to pass through you can create a stunning feature without having to worry about them losing their colouring and having to keep replacing the bottom of your pond.
This product can be delivered in bulk loose loads or is available to collect in small loads from our Buildwas depot.

Delivery & Collections
You can pay for either deliveries or collections using a credit/debit card or by paying cash to our drivers/weighbridge staff. Accounts are available for any business that it is likely to need materials on a regular basis. Please call our depot to ask for more details and to obtain an account form.
When can I have my building aggregates delivered to me?
We will always do our best to accommodate any requirements however we ask that you can give us up to 48 hours notice to allow us to service you in the best way possible.
How much building aggregates will I need to complete my project?
Due to the difference in compactability of certain products it is difficult to give an accurate amount however as a general rule 1 cubic metre of area will require approx. 1.8-2 tonnes of material.
I’m looking for a match for a material I already have. Do you have any?
Although we have pictures of our products on the website we recommend that you bring a sample of what you already have to our depot and we can compare it to our stocks. In the case of our decorative products colours can vary depending on the actual original source.
How do I know what product to use for my project?
